THE SIM RIG

The Hybrid cockpit is a fantastic rig that offers me the flexibility to drive in what ever position I want without having to get my tool box out of buying a whole new rig

The Seat is the GT Omega XLRS and the main reason for choosing this seat was the extra width it offers around the hips.
Yes there are better seats that GT Omega make but getting myself into it would be a bit tighter. Added to that the recline feature is handy for adjustability.
WHEELS & BASE

The Fanatec GT DD Pro is a fantastic piece of kit. Yes it does have it's flaws but there are nothing in compared to what you do get. The feel of every bump and a lot of controls at your finger tips that work great with GT7.
The base itself gives the flexibility of not only using this on PC but also on the PS5. With up to 5nm of torque as standard it can be bumped up to 8nm with the boost kit.
The stock pedals are okay and if you are coming from a basic setup the feel great, however the load cell brake pedal is a game changer when it comes to consistency, even then it could be improved and that is where the amazing guys at 3dRap help. They Brake mod increases the travel of the pedal making it feel more realistic.

3dRap mod on loadcell gives a better and more realistic feel and travel
Boost Kit 18 add an extra 3nm of power to the base

As good as the GT Rim that comes with the Fanatec might be there is no comparison when it comes to the McLaren GT3 V2 wheel. This thing is as good as it get for the price point and is very popular with Fanatec owners.
Personally nothing compares with the benefits of having a built in clutch lever for amazing getaways, rotary encoders and a rocker gear shifter meaning can shift up and down using one hand
