Who is
Chunky Ribena

Welcome to my website! You probably clicked on this section to find out who

Chunky Ribena is and why on earth I chose that name. Well, settle in, because it's about to

get both suspiciously personal and slightly hilarious.

First off, I’m a Father and Husband – which sounds all responsible and grown-up, but when I’m not wrangling kids or trying to remember where I put my keys, you’ll find me indulging in my slightly obsessive love for motorsport and car race games. It started with a simple thrill of racing around Donnington in a single-seater (without breaking the bank, of course) and quickly escalated into a full-on addiction.

Enter: Sim Racing. After sitting in a Mercedes F1 W03 chassis while playing F1 2015 (because who doesn’t like pretending they're a Formula 1 driver in the living room?), I decided it was time to take the plunge and treat myself to my very first racing wheel: the Logitech G29.

It wasn’t all glamorous at the start. Oh no, the wheel was attached to an Ikea coffee table, and I was sitting on the floor trying to nail the perfect F1 seating position. The struggle was real, people.

But soon, the rabbit hole got real deep. A folding wheel stand, a YouTube channel, and an epic sim racing setup later, and here I am – living the dream (or at least, the dream of someone who still gets distracted by the smell of petrol and the sound of rubber on asphalt).

Now, here’s the part where I get a bit real. Like a lot of people, I’ve had my struggles with mental health. There was a time when I felt really low, unsure of myself, and honestly just struggling to keep my head above water. That’s when I found Andy’s Man Club. It’s a community where men can come together, share their stories, and realize that they’re not alone. It’s been a game-changer for me, and I can honestly say that without the support of those guys, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Why YouTube? Well, for a long time, I was a little camera-shy. But as I got into streaming, I gained some much-needed confidence. And, somehow, I stumbled upon a group of like-minded individuals who call themselves the Gran Turismo Community. They're a bunch of awesome folks who know how to drift, race, and probably make jokes about my questionable driving skills.

So, if you’re into racing, bad dad jokes, and occasionally wondering if I actually know what I'm doing, feel free to hang around. Enjoy the chaos!

P.S. I promise the "Chunky Ribena" name is cooler than it sounds. Or maybe it isn’t… but let’s go with "mysterious." 😉
