GT7 Daily Races - Week 20 (12/05/2025)

Already at week 20 and another positive week with the daily races and a return of the group B’s for the quick daily race A. Daily B see’s us head over to Brasil for some Gr4 action and Race C takes us over to the legendary Daytona with Gr3 machinery.

As always the views on each race are my own personal opinion and may vary to what others may think of the races.

Daily Race A (12 cars)

Car: Group B

Track: Sardegna Windmills

Laps: 6

Tyres: Dirt

Fuel: N/A

Tyres: N/A

DR/SR: DR is off and SR is on

Other: Grid Start with False start check

Different!!! – Not my cup of tea mainly because I am terrible at Rally and haven’t got a handbrake but this is a positive addition to daily races. In my opinion this is the perfect combo for daily A.

That being said this could lead to some comical crashes that are not on purpose but may also lead to some dirty driving!

Daily Race B

Car: Group 4

Track: Interlagos

Laps: 5

Tyres: Racing Hard Intermediate Wet

Fuel: x1

Tyres: x1

Tuning: BB is on

Average – This could have been better but could also have been so much worse. The soft tyres could have been a better choice for such a short race and an extra lap could also have been better, but on a track that allows overtaking this could just be alright. Just be careful on the hard tyres until they warm up.

Car: Group 3

Track: Daytona Road Course

Laps: 10

Tyres: Racing Mediums  Intermediate Wet

Fuel: x2

Tyres: x6

Pitstops: 1 Mandatory

Tuning: BB is on

Custom Slipstream

Yes it’s DAY-TOOOOOOOOONA!!! And in the group 3 cars which will be fun and added to that we have custom slipstream which makes it even better.

Some may say custom slipstream is bad but in a race like Daytona it really is needed to keep the racing going otherwise it will be a bore-fest.

Mandatory pit is the silliest part of the race though especially when having to pit for the same tyres… The question here is will one car become the meta simply because it can save it’s tyres and some time in the pits? Will people choose to work together early doors to fight at the end or will it become a win at the first corner race?

BIG TIP: Beware of the invisible wall on the entry to Turn 1!!!!
